Biographie

Née à Hong Kong, Susan a déménagé à Taïwan avec son père dès son plus jeune âge ; après avoir obtenu son diplôme, elle a suivi une formation d'infirmière pendant cinq ans, puis a travaillé comme infirmière à bord d'un navire. Après avoir voyagé dans 23 pays, elle a décidé de débarquer à Hong Kong pour trouver un autre emploi. Elle a d'abord chanté dans une boîte de nuit, puis a changé son nom pour Xiaoyin. Elle est active dans l'industrie cinématographique hongkongaise depuis 1970. Elle a remporté quatre Hong Kong Film Awards de la meilleure actrice (2008, 2011, 2013, 2018).
